Yoga

The word yoga means ‘unity’. It brings together the breath, mind and body. We hear about lots of different kinds of yoga these days: Hatha yoga, Vinyasa yoga, Hot yoga, Bikram yoga, Ashtanga yoga, Power yoga, Restorative yoga, Yin yoga, Yoga Dance, Chair yoga,  Laughter yoga – the list is endless!

All yoga stems from the same root. I teach Hatha yoga which is gentle and accessible to all. It can be modified to accommodate those with injuries and illnesses. For example, I suffer from osteoarthritis and asthma. Yoga helps me with pain relief and has improved my flexibility, my balance and my breathing. I love it so much, I’m on a mission to share it with as many people as possible!
